Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan aktivitas pembelajaran daring selama masa pandemi Covid-19. Khususnya pada penggunaan WhatsApp sebagai media pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMA. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Plus Permata Insani Islamic School, Tangerang Banten. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII berjumlah 190 orang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa WhatsApp dapat dijadikan media pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia karena WhatsApp memiliki fitur yang praktis dan dapat menghemat kouta internet pengguna. Partisipan secara umum menilai WhatsApp sebagai alat yang lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan aplikasi sejenis. Keunggulan tersebut membuktikan bahwa WhatsApp bukan sekadar alat komunikasi, tetapi juga sebuah platform pembelajaran yang efisien. Dalam konteks pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di tingkat SMA, WhatsApp menjadi pilihan utama bagi para siswa dan guru. Dengan fitur-fitur interaktifnya, aplikasi ini mampu menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang dinamis dan mendukung pertukaran informasi antar anggota kelompok pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa WhatsApp bukan hanya sekadar media pembelajaran tambahan, tetapi telah menjadi primadona yang memberikan kontribusi positif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di jenjang SMA.
