Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk nilai moral yang terkandung dalam kumpulan cerita rakyat karya Muhamad Jaruki dan hubungan manusia dengan sastra. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber datanya adalah kumpulan cerita rakyat karya Muhamad Jaruki. Data penelitian ini berupa data kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik studi pustaka, baca, catat, dan analisis. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah (1) Bentuk nilai moral terkait hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan yaitu pasrah kepada Tuhan dan kasih sayang Tuhan. (2) Nilai moral terkait hubungan manusia dengan masyarakat yaitu nilai kepeduliaan sosial, nilai kasih sayang, nilai kejujuran, nilai empati, nilai silaturahmi, nilai gotong royong, nilai tolong menolong, nilai persahabatan, nilai saling memberi. (3) Nilai moral terkait hubungan manusia dengan diri sendiri yaitu kerja keras, nilai pengabdian suami-isteri, membantu orangtua, rasa ingin tahu, nilai keikhlasan, komitmen, instropeksi diri, kesadaran diri, cinta tanah air, nilai kepercayaan. (4) Nilai moral terkait hubungan manusia dengan Alam yaitu peka terhadap Alam.
