ANALISIS PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER DALAM CERITA RAKYAT SUKU MEYAH DI DISTRIK SIDEI KABUPATEN MANOKWARI DENGAN PENDEKATAN PRAGMATIK

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi tokoh, karakter, dan amanat yang terdapat pada cerita rakyat Suku Meyah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan objek penelitian karya sastra cerita Rakyat Suku Meyah Karya Yance Mandacan, Mesak Moktis, Mesak Tibiyai, terjemahan Dinas Parawisata Provinsi Papua Barat Seri 01. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan analisis tokoh, karakter, dan amanat yang terdapat dalam Cerita Rakyat Suku Meyah, pembagian tokoh Cerita Rakyat Suku Meyah, tokoh utama dan tambahan. Karakter tokoh dalam Cerita Rakyat Suku Meyah, cinta damai, kesabaran, rasa ingin tahu, pendirian, peduli sosial, mandiri, tanggung jawab, baik hati, kerja keras, emosional. Amanat dalam Cerita Rakyat Suku Meyah, amanat tentang hubungan manusia dengan diri sendiri, manusia dengan sesama, manusia dengan alam. Dalam penelitian ini juga di ketahui bahwa Cerita Rakyat Suku Meyah layak direkomendasikan sebagai bahan ajar di sekolah, agar guru dapat memanfaatkan penguatan pendidikan karakter yang terkandung, baik sosial, budaya, dan agama.
