Author Guidline
Author Guidline
The principal prerequisite:
The manuscript has not yet been published in another journal or anywhere else.
The submission of the work to Journal of Tropical Diversity requires the approval of all authors.
The authors' order must be accepted by all of them.
All authors must concur on the corresponding author as their representation when speaking with the editor.
Component of the manuscript:
(a) Title (in English and Bahasa):
The manuscript's title should be succinct and unambiguous, stating precisely the issue that has to be brought up and avoiding room for varying interpretations. The manuscript title cannot contain any word abbreviations. Both English and Indonesian are written in the title.
Book Antiqua, size 18, bold, and space one, are used to write the Indonesian title. The distance between the Indonesian Title and English is 12 pt (one time enter). Uppercase letters for each beginning of the word except conjunctions or prepositions. Writing a scientific name follows the rules of international standards, by requiring the name of the inventor and year.
(b) Authors’ Name:
The author's name is written in full without title, with Book Antiqua size, size 10, Bold. If the author is more than one, write the names of the authors separated by commas (,). If the author's name consists of only one word, write the real name in one word, however in the online version (HTML) it will be written in two words that contain the same name (repeated). The author's name is written with a distance of 12 pt (one time enter) from the English title. Correspondent authors are marked *. The editor will only communicate with the correspondence writer.
(c) Authors’ Affiliation:
Author affiliation or author's institution name is written under the author's name with a distance of 12 pt (one time enter) from the author's name. Authors who are not in the same institution, must be marked with the number "1" and so on as in the example. Affiliation is written by including the name of the Department / Department, Institution Name, Address of Institution, City of institution, Postcode and Country. Author affiliations are written in Book Antiqua letters, 8 pt in size, regular.
(d) Email address of the authors:
Each author must write under their association without any distance and mention their own email addresses.
(e) The abstract and keywords (in Indonesian Bahasa)
The typeface used for writing Indonesian abstractions is Book Antiqua, normal size 9 points. In an abstract, the main points of the issue to be addressed, the approach taken to solve it, the outcomes of the research that was done, and a succinct summary of the conclusions are all included in 150 to 300 words. Each language's abstract should only be one paragraph long and one column wide. In this arrangement, one space separates each line. An abstract in both Indonesian and English must be included with every article. Under the abstract, keywords are inserted 12 points below the last line of the abstract. Keywords include five terms associated with the written research.
(f) Keywords and Abstract (in English):
Book Antiqua letters in ordinary size, 9 point font are used to write abstract English. Under the abstract, keywords are inserted 10 points below the last line of the abstract. Contains five keywords associated with the published research.
(g) INTRODUCTION:
In Book Antiqua, the preface is written in size 10, space 1. Titles of chapters, like INTRODUCTION and RESEARCH METHODS, are written in bold, capital characters, and aligned to the left. Six points separates the chapter headers from the paragraph's first line (after adding six points). The chapter's contents are written in an even, left-to-right fashion. The sections on research methodology, findings and discussion, conclusions, and acknowledgments are all subject to this requirement.
(h) RESEARCH METHODS:
The author(s) should include enough details in this section so that another trained researcher can carry out the experiments the paper describes. The methodology should be described in detail if the approach is classified as novel procedures or if it pertains to a published publication that most readers would not have easy access to. If there are any changes, they should be properly explained. It is necessary to cite previously published processes. The authors should also mention the scientific name, sample count, and sampling site. Unusual chemicals, bacterial strains, reagents, and equipment must all have their sources (business, city, state, or nation) properly marked. For individuals utilizing satellite imagery, kindly furnish gathered data from ground checks as well.
(i) RESULTS AND DISCUSSION:
Discussion and results shouldn't be kept apart. Indicate the findings derived from the applied techniques. Steer clear of both double presentation (e.g., table and graph) and raw data presentation. A standard deviation should be assigned to each mean value in the data. While certain results may only be provided in the text, all data provided in the results should be displayed in the tables or graphs.
Comparing the presented data and results with other previously published study findings helps facilitate discussion. Interpreting the results should take precedence over just repeating the findings.
(j) CONSLUSSION AND SUGGESTION:
A clear conclusion that is based on the results and discussion is necessary. Instead of writing it as a list, it should be a paragraph.
(k) AKNOWLEDGEMENT (Optional):
The author(s) should identify the grant recipient(s) and the grant source (the institution and contract year) in this area. Additionally, recognition should be extended to the person, organization, or institution that made a significant contribution to the study, particularly in terms of developing the research design, gathering data, providing documents or photos, analyzing and interpreting the data, or writing the manuscript or critically editing it to remove any significant intellectual content. A person needs to be listed as one of the authors if their contribution is substantial. Kindly consult the contribution form of the author(s).
(l) REFERENCES.
Every reference that appears in the manuscript's text needs to be listed in the Bibliography, and vice versa. Reference lists drawn from primary sources (scientific journals), which account for at least 80% of the bibliography overall, must be included. These sources must have been published within the last ten (10) years. At least fifteen (10) references are included in each paper, and the authors' works are listed alphabetically.
The format used for references is APA 6th edition. Mendeley, Zotero, Refworks, Endnotes, and Reference Manager are examples of library management programs that MUST be used for citation writing and bibliographies. The address of the prayer must be included in every article cited by doi number,
